Tin Plates are mainly used as packing material. It is better than other material as it is rust-less, corrosion free and non-toxic, high processable and recyclable. Tin plate is used in food cans, beverage cans, pressured sprayer cans, chemical product cans, and dry good cans and can caps among others.
Because of its many practical uses, global demand for tin plate has been growing with Asia being the largest source of demand.
Novowell ETP Limited was established in April 2011 to engage in manufacturing electrolytic tin plate in the PRC. It is expected to start production in June 2012 and the tinplate production will be sold both in domestic and international markets.
The project will be progressed in 2 phases both 150,000 MT and the expected capacity after completion of phases 2 will be 300,000 MT within 2013.
